We just have a few more days before we can move into our condo.
We have, however, experienced a bit of a challenge getting our retirement funds from Fidelity transferred to the bank here in Mexico in order to close on Monday, October 9. Seems the two persons in charge of the Mexican bank were out and couldn't verify the transfer of the funds.
So we have been anxiously awaiting the funds transfer for the past few days. Without it, we were going to be unable to take possession. We just heard all is confirmed though - the funds are there!!
So next week will be very busy with getting settled. It has been 8 weeks now since we arrived in Maz. It will feel so good to be in our new condo.
