After having lived in a foreign country, Mexico, we are so grateful for the freedom and safety we have here in American. Truly happy to say I am an American and even though our country has many problems it's still the best place in the world to live and I'm happy I was fortunate to have been born here. Happy Happy birthday America!! I love you.

Update on our life, 6 years after we retired.
On June 30, 2006, we retired from our jobs and moved to Mexico. Little did we know 6 years later we'd be living in Yakima, Washington and both working full time. It's hard to believe, but necessary for now. We're already 6 months into 2012 and our lives are moving so quickly, sometimes feels unsettling but we'll be retiring again before we know it.
"Everything will be all right in the end. If it is not, it is not yet the end". I want to try to keep these words in my heart as the next few years pass by so fast.
